Swedish WomenÕs Educational Association International, Inc. (SWEA), is a non-profit global organization dedicated to the promotion of Swedish culture and the encouragement of friendship and personal growth among its members. SWEA was founded in 1979 and today has more than 8,000 members in 33 countries on five continents.

 

For the academic year of 2011-2012, the total scholarship amount of $6000 will be awarded to one or two well-merited female undergraduate or graduate students at a New England University who wish to pursue studies or a work/study program in Sweden for at least one semester.
